Addison Mizner Elementary School PTA Website
Welcome! This website was created entirely by parents of children attending AMES, an "A" rated K–5 public school in Boca Raton, Florida. We'll help you Stay Informed. If you would like to volunteer to help improve the site, or have suggestions, please contact the Website Committee.
The Holiday Shop is right around the corner! We are still in need of volunteers for this fun, fast-paced event. As a volunteer you will assist the students in shopping for their family and friends and/ or wrap presents the students purchase. The Holiday Shop will be open Monday, November 30th - Friday, December 4th. We will be located in room M13. A class schedule is available below to help you decide the best time(s) for you to volunteer. Remember, you can shop with your child/ children even if that is not the time you sign up to volunteer. Eight AMES students will be awarded a certificate for their entries and will be moving on to the Council Level Competition for PTA Reflections, a national student arts recognition program. Winners there will move on to the Florida State Level. This year’s Reflections program had the theme: “Let your Imagination Fly” and our students provided their interpretation across a variety of arts categories:

- Genevieve Nixdorf, 2nd grade, Visual Arts

Please celebrate the arts and congratulate these students. We wish them well as they move to the next level! Look for your chance to enter PTA Reflections next fall when it resumes at a local level.

Let's Earn Cash for our School
Let’s Earn Cash for our School!
This year, our school will be participating in the Box Tops for Education program. My name is Francesca Elmore and I’m thrilled to be the Box Tops Coordinator for AMES!
Clipping Box Tops is an easy way for you to help our school buy what it needs. Box Tops are each worth 10₵ and they quickly add up to real cash for our school. Last year we raised over $1,600! Let’s try and beat this amount for the 2015/16 school year! Plus, twice a year, the class that collects the most Box Tops will earn $50 for their classroom and an ice cream party!
To help our school earn money, just look for the pink Box Tops on products, clip them, and send them to school with your child.
